Is he eating long enough?

Hey mommas! Question, so my son is 3 days old. When we were in the hospital, he’d only latch maybe 3-4-5 minutes on one boob before he seemed full but he ate every 2 hours. The nurse talked to me about supplementing with formula because he wouldn’t stay latched, but I don’t think he can handle the formula because he will spit up sooo bad after a bottle…

My milk has officially came in full swing, I’m leaking everywhere (including all over him during feedings lol) but I’ve noticed he’ll only stay latched maybe 8-9 mins one side and 2-3 on the other. I’ve been hearing he needs a minimum of 10-15 mins per side… is he eating enough? He’ll doze off after eating like he’s full and as much as I try I can’t get him to latch back.

Any advice?
