how do you know if your baby is head down?

I honestly go by kicks.  I’ll get little movements in my pubic area and strong pushes/kicks up by my ribs.  Prior when he was sitting breech all of the kicking/pressure was deep in my pubic region.  The doctor can also feel at your next appointment how they’re laying ☺️

My baby has been head down this entire pregnancy. I couldn’t feel it until 27ish weeks when I could feel his hiccups in my pelvis & his kicks near my ribs. I could also feel his hands & arms moving in my pelvis area.. just felt different than kicks.

By ultrasound - my youngest was all over the place between 30-39 weeks and it felt pretty much exactly the same to me. Except when he was transverse then his head was on an odd angle point sideways.

I couldn’t tell at all I went in at 35wks she was breeched then went in at 39wks to deliver she was head down then I was checked at 7 dilated and she turned around again and I had a c section 😩

You can feel as they get bigger. The head, the feet and their back. Otherwise midwife will tell you or ultrasound
