Steroid Shot during pregnancy
Has anyone had a steroid shot done prior to delivery to speed up lung development?
Due to a thin uterus, we are delivering at 37 weeks and my OBGYN suggests a steroid shot prior to speed up lung development by delivery… I’m pretty conservative when it comes to medications, so doing something to speed up growth kind of scares me. Thoughts? I’ll be talking to my OBGYN about this again at my next appointment.
