Thick Uterine Line and TTC

I had an ultrasound done on Monday and my uterine lining is very thick. My doctor said my ovaries look great and this is the only thing keeping me from getting pregnant. She prescribed 200mg of progesterone daily until Feb 6 and then I’ll have my period. I have another ultrasound Feb 15 to see if it helped. She mentioned a D&C could be an option to clear it out. Has anyone had this happen and we’re able to get it thinned out without surgery? I’m feeling really bummed right now. 😕
