Don’t want to pump
Hey everyone, reaching out to anyone who is exclusively breastfeeding without pumping. My first I felt chained to the pump. He was a NICU baby and I had to pump for the first 6 days.. then his pallet was to small so I had to keep pumping. At about 2 months old and lots of practice I was able to breastfeed but only about 30% of the time as I was so worried about his intake and my supply I never stopped pumping. I’m now in my second trimester with my second and hoping I don’t have another NICU baby… I know I won’t be able to help but pump if we’re in that situation again but assuming I’m not… how often do you breastfeed in the beginning to get a good supply going without the use of a pump? Planning ahead of time for this because I HATE the pump. If you’ve made it this far reading my post thanks for sticking around lol
