Can I smoke a blunt with someone who has herpes?

I have a friend coming over to smoke and he has herpes and I’m slick kinda scared. I know you can have herpes is certain places like genitals rectum, or mouth. I don’t know which one he has but if he mouth herpes I would see it if he has an active outbreak right? And if he just has genital herpes and an active outbreak, would me smoking a blunt with him affect me. Sorry if I sound ignorant I’m just uneducated about this topic.

Herpes can be active and there be viral shedding without “visible” signs either way. So you could catch hsv 1 (oral) from sharing a blunt yes or anything else

I have a friend who unfortunately does get terrible coldsore outbreaks and when that happens i just cut the blunt in half and still share. If they get upset or butthurt thats on them. Never risk your health because youre worried about making someone feel bad.

Girl just think if you don't want whatever a person's got don't drink, smoke, eat, nothing after a person regardless of what they have and where it is at. Think of your health first. You don't want that nor covid. Smoking that blunt isn't worth all that girl.

There are 2 types of herpes... Simplex 1 & simplex 2. You can't pass the one unless they have a cold sore and they go down on you. Simplex 2 is full blown genital herpes. I learned when I was pregnant at least 95% of the population has herpes simplex 1 in their blood and you can have it and never spread it. Just some food for thought.

I literally have a herpes simplex 1 outbreak right now and I won’t even let anyone in the house touch my cutlery or cup etc.  
You can catch it. I mean 70% of the population have herpes 1 so it’s actually not a huge deal, just inconvenient. 
But I still wouldn’t share a cigarette with anyone! You’ll be swapping saliva.

I don't know about with a guy. I've shared food and drinks with a female that has genital.herpes and I'm clean after I got tested.for routine crap. But boys are dirty haha. I wouldn't risk it.
