So I went to my boyfriends house last night and I finally got to see how his dog was and he told me that he was fully trained but he is not. He told me that at first we would not take it but then he wanted to so I was like okay we’ll try it. I don’t like dogs but I can tolerate them and think they’re all cute. We move in in a few months and I have two cats and I am very worried for them. He says he is good with other animals, but one of my cats claws my sisters dog as cats usually do to dogs (not in a harmful way) but i am very worried on how his dog will react. He recently got it and he told me himself that if his dog does anything to my cats that I didn’t like or made me worry he’d give it to family. But i am still very worried. It’s a big dog and he does not listen but my boyfriend said he does. Especially with people around he doesn’t. He is constantly jumping on you and biting you and i am very worried he will bite my cats. There is no way for us to let them meet and be together for a bit so I can see how they’ll be. I am very worried for the cats and with his dog not being trained fully. I’m not sure if this is a rant or if I’m looking for opinions here. I’m just worried about it. I literally could not walk without the dog constantly running and jumping at me. He can barley control him with a chest harness to keep him back. I also couldn’t let my feet hang from the couch without his dog biting at my feet so I had to sit on my feet literally.
