A guy from high school recently messaged me on FB and we started catching up. We live in completely separate states now so It’s not going to be anything romantic but I’ve noticed he expects me to text him all day long and if I don’t, he makes little comments about it and says I could at least tell him when I’m not going to text back right away. Now he’s at the point where if I don’t text back within like an hour then he’s calling me. If I don’t answer he texts me again saying “hope you’re being safe”. I find it so overwhelming. My twin wants me to be married so bad so she makes excuses for guys and says I’m the problem so now I don’t know if me being pushed away by this behavior is normal or not. I went out last night and he kept texting me and when I wouldn’t answer would say “you better not drink and drive” “are you having fun” “better be being safe” “send me a photo”. Just one after the other when I don’t respond but I’m out with friends so I don’t want to sit and constantly text back. We’re not even dating or anything so I don’t feel like I even have to. He also expects me to call him every morning when I wake up and every day after work on my way home.
