How much milk can be hand expressed into baby’s mouth in 5 min?

How much milk can be hand expressed into baby’s mouth in 5 min? My baby just latches for 5-8min and takes off. I hand express milk into her mouth as she has latching issues. Any idea how much she could be eating?

Definitely get help from a lactation consultant for babes latch. 
Babe will tell you if they are hungry. Don’t worry about how long. Worry about wet diapers. If babe is having 6+ wet diapers, babe is getting enough.
My girl averages 8 minutes latched.

If she has latching issues you need to be evaluated by an IBCLC. And baby’s know when they are done nursing at breast. There’s no need to hand express in babes mouth and you would have no idea how much babe is getting.

There’s no way to know that as it would depend on your supply, letdown and how good you are at hand expressing… you could buy a baby scale and weigh them before and after a feed to see roughly how many oz they are getting?

Babies know when they are done eating. My first ate horrendously slow like needed 40 minutes a session
My 2nd was a normal pace of 20 minutes 
My third needed t to 10 minutes top
Shes my super chunk.

Not 100% I kno my sons wer both very fast eaters n they wld literally be done within 10 min.s but at 1st wen they wer both born they wer lazy til they got used to it n I would squeeze it in ther mouths n it workd til they wer able to latch. Mayb try one of them things u out over ur nipple mayb that wld help them be able to latch better... don't put a whole bunch of pressure on urself tho u kno... hopefully

It depends on you how much actually comes out so while baby is not hungry and you have time hand express into bottle see how much your getting out and if she's sucking then that increase the amount some but it gives an estimate of how much she could be getting
