Have any of your little ones had a UTI?

My daughter started complaining of a tummy ache yesterday and saying she had to pee very often and sometimes not going once on the potty brought her to the doctor and she has a UTI. Have any of your kids had before?

My daughter has had two 🙁. They happened when she pooped in her diaper at night and didn’t wake us to change her. I think it got into the urethra and caused the UTI. She hasn’t had any since she’s been potty trained. But they can happen if they wipe incorrectly.

No, although I have searched symptoms before because recently my son has been very irritable the last 2 weeks, wakes during the night and it doesn’t seem to be an ear infection. He is often to putting to his tummy but he doesn’t do a great job expressing himself when sick. Harder to diagnose if they aren’t potty trained. How did your doctor diagnose?
