Second baby and no one cares

Is it normal for people to not care about baby number 2? Literally no one on either side of our family has purchased anything on our registry, or asked if we need anything. No one offered to throw a shower, not even my own mom and she just asked me what month baby is due. If my daughter was pregnant I would have put the date in my calendar the second she told me! No one has offered to watch our older daughter when we go into the hospital for delivery. It’s really starting to hurt my feelings.
