Advice please

I had unprotected sex about a week ago, I took the “Ella” 4 days after. (It’s a stronger form of plan b) i didn’t realize I had already ovulated until after I took the pill. Long story short I tested for pregnancy and the test came out as a hard negative. My period isn’t due for another week. Did I test too early?? Should I test again?? I only waited so long to take it because because my city is small , everyone knows everyone here so I decided to wait privately until I could get from from planned parenthood
