VBAC after C section 2 1/2 years prior?

Question

I had my son via emergency c-section in 2019 because I just couldn’t dilate past 6cm. I’m 36 weeks now and hoping for a VBAC. My doctor has agreed and stated let’s go for it if my body allows.  As I’m getting closer I’m panicking something will go wrong or my scare will reopen or something 😫
Anyone have a successful VBAC after C section 2 years prior ?

I had my csection in March 2019 then had a successfully induced vbac in July 2020 and plan to have a 2vbac in May 2022. Vbac is statistically soooo much safer than a repeat csection. You literally have very little to worry about. It’s awesome you have a supportive doctor. Maybe do more of your own research and learn why vbac is safer. If you’re on Facebook, join the ICAN group and you’ll get so much helpful info and success stories. Also ACOG completely supports vbac in almost all cases too.

I would make sure your doctor is completely on board with it. It shouldnt be an “if your body allows” mentality. It should be “ whatever it takes to get you there” process. 
I had a scheduled csection with my first 09/2019 and had a vbac delivery 05/2021 (about 20 months in between)!
