Did you limit your caffeine intake during your IVF cycle?

IVF cycle?" /> 
We’re about to start another round of IVF in the next week or so. Just curious if you limited your caffeine intake or did you stop it all together? If you stopped it all together did you have a successful round? Just curious as we’ve done many rounds with no success.

My RE must’ve been pretty laid back compared to others. He said to live life as normal. I remember asking about caffeine initially, and he kind of chuckled and said do not stress myself out and change my life, he said drink my coffee and alcohol, maybe just don’t drink a pot of coffee a day which isn’t heathy for anyone. I never gave up coffee or alcohol. My first transfer is 2 1/2 years old and I’m 35 weeks with #2💖  Still had caffeine in moderation through both pregnancies also;) But I totally understand doing  everything you can. IVF is hard. Don’t give up. Good luck!🍀

Before IVF I used to drink 3 cups of coffee a day, i love caffeine but when I started ivf I limited to two and when I found out i was pregnant I limited to just my morning cup of coffee. The good thing is I don’t miss coffee and I thought it was going to be hard because I’ve always love it but pregnancy makes you different.

You can only have about 1 cup or 8oz of coffee during IVF and or pregnant

I was told to limit caffeine to no more then 200mg a day. I was also told that if I could go without it to just not have any at all. I don’t drink coffee anyways so I just didn’t have any at all so it was pretty easy for me. I did drink alcohol though leading up till about 4 days before my FET. Currently 26 weeks pregnant. I didn’t have any coffee even decaf. Also no tea or chocolate. Same as the other person (3 months) and while pregnant. Then when we did the transfer no hot showers 😆

My specialist said 0 caffeine 3 months prior to ivf, during, and during pregnancy.

I usually only have one cup a day and I continued that up until my transfer.
