Confused on my due date?

So I’m 24 weeks today due date being 5/25/2022 but every time I go for ultrasounds since I’ve been 17 weeks (I go every two weeks) he’s measuring two weeks ahead. Today I went and he’s measuring 26 weeks and they said he’s a pound 10oz roughly. Are they going to move my due date?

A friend of mine who was pregnant last year was telling me her OBGYN told her the body knows size, not time. If baby is measuring ahead, you may go into labor on your own!

I wouldn’t worry to much about the due date. Baby will come when they want to come for the most part. Just maybe be prepared in care they come early.

I personally think its daft how hospitals come up with due dates based on measurements & predicted weights from scans. You know when you did the deed! And how long your cycles are & when your last period was...ok you don't know precisely when you conceived, but I think us ladies have a pretty good idea & it's generally not a difference of 2 whole weeks! With my 1st they moved my due date by a week based off off the 12 week scan & induced me because of gd & baby was apparently going to be big. Well he wasn't ready to come, I ended up with an emergency c-section & he was only 7lbs 11oz. Sorry for the rant 😅 Baby will come when it's ready anyway x

They won't change due date some babies are just big I had no gd my daughter was always couple weeks ahead

They may test you a few times for gestational diabetes if babe is measuring that big consistently. Unless your periods are irregular, idk if they will change anything
