Possibly autistic toddler- meal times

I have a feeling my toddler might have autism. I already reached out to her doctor to get screening.

On top of my concerns, she has a serious problem during meal times. I mean if there is ANYTHING on her tray but chicken nuggets, French fries, uncrustable, pancakes, yogurt, applesauce, snacks (goldfish or veggie straws) or fruit she has an absolute meltdown. I try to put her hands in it so she can taste and she will just reach her out out to me to wash it off right away.

My question is- do you think this is another sign to add to my list? Or can this be a normal behavior of picky eaters?

I’m 10000% defeated
