Vanishing twin

Last week I experiencing heavy bleeding and passing of clots and assumed I had a miscarriage. After lots of follow up testing I had an ultrasound appt. tonight and the doctor saw two gestational sacs- she believes I had twins and I miscarried one. The other baby is there 🤍 she saw the flicker of the heartbeat but wasn’t able to get a count and couldn’t hear it yet. I think I am 6 weeks, 5 days (but my dates could be off) so I have to go back next week to check again 🤍 so I’m in a waiting game again but I have to be more hopeful now 🤍

Update: I lost the other baby. I had a d and c.
