Do you always feel pressure down there if your starting to dilate?

Can you not have pressure and still be dilating?
My first baby was breech so never had a cervical check but this baby has been head down, don’t feel any pressure down there yet just turned 35 weeks.

Whether or not you feel pressure is mostly due to baby's position/size and how strong your pelvic floor (lower abdomen) muscles are. Whether or not you're dilated typically has little to no effect on feeling any pressure

I didn’t feel anything with my first and my water broke at 3 cm at 40 weeks. But I never felt any pelvic pressure with him.

I felt nothing at all. On a Tuesday I was 0 and my water broke on a Thursday and I was 3cm apparently.

I was feeling terrible pressure to the point where I felt like I was going to pee myself literally the entire time with constant contractions but no pain ended up being 1cm dilated and and had a really shortened cervix. Early labor at 32 weeks. If it wasn’t for that big pressure feeling I probably wouldn’t ignored it tbh.
