when would I have someone come watch my 1yo?

TL;DR — how far apart should contractions be before I ask someone to come down to watch my 16mo?

just a little over 28 weeks and making our game plan. I'll be induced at 39w but hoping baby makes her arrival sooner, so expecting (hoping lol) 9/10 more weeks.

with my first baby, my water just broke. didn't feel contractions, went in like 2hr after my water broke bc I thought I had to wait for contractions so I showered and finished packing my bag lol. I still don't know how to time contractions and how far apart they should be.

my daughter will be 16m and I'm only 15 mins from our hospital but I'll need my sister or MIL to get to our house (hoping it's my sister but she has school & work sometimes) before we go in.

so FINALLY, my question - how far apart should contractions be before I ask someone to come down?

I figure, I will let them know when they start bc it's family, but I just don't know when to have someone come down. I'm having terrible anxiety about leaving my daughter & would like to stay home as long as possible lol.
