Did you find our gender at 20w anatomy scan and it end up wrong?

We found out gender but as we left the ultrasound tech says " just remember these things cab be wrong" and now I'm totally second guessing buying anything girl related 😅 I just wanna know what the chances of it being wrong are. The ultrasound picture definitely looks girl to me but why did she warn us it could be wrong?🤣

My friend got told she was having a girl, she went back a week later for them to check something and got told its definitely a boy

I think my OB said that the scan is 97% accurate

I found mine out at 15 weeks 5 days and he wasn't shy to show us he was a boy 🤣

Not me but I know someone I went to school with, she was told girl her whole pregnancy. Nope! They had a very surprising delivery. Lol it does happen. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Anatomy scan is done with a much better ultrasound maschine. And if baby clearly opened legs to show what he has there, then it is highly unlikely to be wrong.
I know one occasion, eehn it was wrong 20 years ago, but well, the equiptment was not the same also. 🤷‍♀️
