When are first scans done?

Just got my positive. I have to wait until Monday to schedule an appointment. What can I expect? Do they just draw your blood to confirm pregnancy then tell you when to come in for a scan?

With both babies they give me a urine test at my intake appointment (I was 6 weeks by then). Then I get a dating scan a few weeks later (9 weeks and 8 weeks).

Dating scan is usuallu  6-10 weeks - not all pregnancies will have this
NT scan is done 10-14 weeks
Anatony scan is at 20 weeks.
Growth scan is done in the 3rd trimester (not all pregnancies will have these)

I’ve never had bloods done to confirm pregnancy. After I got my positive they schedule me to come in at 8 weeks where they take a urine test and then do a confirmation ultrasound. Same routine for 3 pregnancies now.

My office does a confirmation appt around 6 weeks with just a urine sample, some paperwork and blood work. Then 8 weeks a dating scan.

My primary doctor did a blood test to confirm and I have to wait until I’m estimated 8 weeks based off my last period to have my first appointment. It’d this Tuesday and I don’t believe I’m 8 weeks at all but until knowing they base it off your last period

I know a lot of people who don't get a first appointment until 8-12 weeks unfortunately. They may have you come in to confirm with urine test but most don't have a scan before 8 weeks because there's not much to see.
