Early ovulation?

My first day last period was 1/30/22 average cycle is 28 days. This cycle I noticed the egg white cm on 2/8/22 which was fairly early for me. We made sure to bd every other day starting the day after my last period. Is this too early to have ovulation and just happenstance? I'm cycle day 15 now and no other days had the egg white mucous. I'm feeling fairly flustered as we have been at this for months trying to conceive. I've tried the ovulation prediction things and got more frustrated so stopped using those. I've tracked my cycles since the beginning and 28-29 days seems average so I don't think my days are off. Wondering if the mucous observation isn't reliable for me either? Any suggestions are welcomed thanks!
