Looking for personal experience

So I had a C-section with my daughter nearly 6 years ago… I am pregnant with baby #2 and have been told that I am eligible for a TOLAC which makes me so happy because that was a goal as soon as I found out I was pregnant. According to the vbac calculator my chance is 70%.

I am 28 weeks and I went to labor and delivery two morning ago because I woke up having strong contractions for a few hours. They were 1-3mins apart but they determined I was not in active labor but having preterm contractions. They have been off and on since.

I guess my questions would be people who experienced preterm contractions, did you go into labor earlier? And those who tried for a TOLAC, did you go into labor on your own or induced and were you successful in getting your vbac or did you end up with another C-section?
