Most people are not getting positives that early. Lol implantation happens for most around 9-10 dpo and then it takes 2-3 more days for there to be enough hcg to show up on a hpt. I've personally never gotten a positive til at least 11-12 dpo.

8dpo is very early but it’s possible. It all depends on when implantation occurs, try testing around 10/11 dpo x
