Vbac or Elective c-section?

Please share any experiences you’ve had with a vbac after having a c-section with your first. I’m trying to decide which route I want to go with my second baby. I only had to have a c-section with my first because she was breech. If you’ve had both, which route would you recommend?

I would 1000% percent recommend a Vbac! I had two c-sections then a vbac. I would do my vbac ten times over again before having another c-section. The recovery was night and day difference. And vaginally is so much better for your health in the long run. Especially if you would like to have more children. Also you have a 5 times higher chance of
dying in a c-section than a vbac. Doctors tend to leave out the risks of a repeat cesarean. Check out the vac link podcast, they talk about vbacs and repeat c-sections. They go through statistics throughout the world and ACOGS recommendations. That way you can make an informed decision based on facts and not fear. But ultimately you should do what you feel is best for you.

I recommend a VBAC any day over csection!! I had my VBAC in December and the experience was night and day 💙 I was able to tend to both of my children healing was different for obvious reasons but 10000x better! It was an induced VBAC as well! We did a foley bulb and very low dose pit. It’s was such a beautiful experience 🥺 I highly recommend joining the vbac link on Facebook.

Im torn i would have loved to try for a vbac, but being that my family are 42weekers. A vbac would have never been in the plan. 
I chose a planned csection and it was just beautiful and so calm!

VBAC for sure! It was such a healing experience, but such a fight to get there. Sadly most providers here are not supportive and even the supportive once are only supportive up to a point. I ends up with an unmedicated VBAC, exactly the way I wanted it. From first contraction to baby being born was only 7 hours. Such a difference from my 48 hrs of torture induction that ended in my c-section. Recovery was easier, but still difficult because I lost a lot of blood. 
I recommend you join some Facebook groups VBAC link is one of them. Read some VBAC birth stories and definitely get a doula.
