Hourglass cervix

22w3d here. I’m on bed rest for the remainder of my pregnancy due to short cervix and spotting. I’ve been checked weekly for the last 2 weeks and on Tuesday my cervix were 3cm but they said my cervix are open on the inside but not the outside and my doctor had never seen that before. I go see MFM on the 25th but I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this ? He said it didn’t look like funneling. I went to L&D afterwards because I was having a lot of cramping and pressure. On my notes I can access online it says “it showed a cervix that was approximately 3 cm in length but there was almost an hour glass appearance above the cervix”. I hate having to wait for answers and I know none of you are doctors but I’m wondering if anytime else has experience this ??
