Okay. How would you guys feel if your in laws got life insurance on your child without your consent or without talking to you first? My husband sees no wrong. And I’m not saying they’re wrong for it. I would have just like to have been aware of it. He’s our child. We need to make these decisions on him. Which. We have. We both have policies on him of our own so they technically don’t have to have it on him. Well my husband brought it up to them that I was kinda upset about not knowing. And the only thing I asked them was from here on out to let us know. And if they wish to keep the policy to put my husband has the beneficiary since he is his daddy and their child. My father in law of course just got offended. And my husband and I tried to tell him over and over I wasn’t meaning it in a bad way. I would just like us to be in charge of that if anything were to ever happen. (LORD PLEASE PROTECT MY CHILD AND KEEP HIM SAFE IN YOUR ARMS- AMEN) but my father in law proceeded with the statement “I got it on him so he wouldn’t have to be barried in a cardboard box” which HIGHLY offended me. And my husband. So now when i go around my father in law he will not talk to me. He will even stay in a different room until I leave. Well today my mother in law brought up the conversation and said “he just took it the wrong way when you said you didn’t want anyone being able to benefit from it” which I did. But I stated to him and my husband stated to him over and over that we meant it in no disrespect.
