Fibroids?

I had fibroids during my first pregnancy and trying to get pregnant again but having difficulty. Turns out the fibroids have increased in both size and number. Have you had success getting pregnant despite multiple fibroids 4-7cm in diameter? Mine are all either in the uterine wall or bulging out rather than inside so that’s a plus. I’d like a second child and hoping that’s still possible.

I got pregnant with fibroids. About 3 years before I conceived I had a fibroid the size of a tennis ball removed surgically. During that surgery the doctor noticed several small fibroids too small to remove. I am not sure of their measurements at that time. I am currently 22 weeks pregnant and they have seen fibroids similar in size to what you mentioned on my scans since 11 weeks. So, it it likely that they were about the size you mentioned when I conceived, but it is difficult to know as I didn’t have any scans right before conception and they can grow a little during pregnancy.

I would discuss this with your obgyn or find a specialist. It’s true that their location can play a factor. I had fibroids that were smaller and got pregnant. But they did monitor the sizes of them throughout my pregnancy
