so I hate to admit it but I have "beef curtains" I'm young and have no one to talk to or ask but how the hell did I even get those and why is it such a big deal. should I be ashamed of myself I feel so icky and unconfident because I don't have a pretty looking vagina like in porn. all these people making fun of how "roast beef" looks and I just have to laugh it off so they don't realize I'm lokey panicking that its so bad. but is it? should I be ashamed and being kept up at night because of it? someone please help out. <3

So every single vagina is different there are multiple different forms of vaginas. I do have beef curtains. I like to call it a hastily packed suitcase. Just so you know I'm 28 and although I did get a lot of comments about it when I was younger and sexually active I don't as an adult. Why is that you ask? Because boys are stupid and will find any reason to make fun of a woman unfortunately some men are as well. Not every single penis looks glorious that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with them. There are multiple different types of boobs. Unfortunately you don't get to pick the body that you come with but you do get to decide if you love your body or not. You are beef curtains are going to be a part of your life for the rest of your life learn to love them. And also for the record I've gotten many many compliments on my hastily packed suitcase, and when you find somebody who actually loves you they're not going to care what kind of labia's you have

You have labia. Not “beef curtains” and should not degrade yourself or perpetuate these terms meant to hurt women. Women have all sorts of vulvas. All normal. If someone doesn’t like it they don’t belong near it. Period.

Girl! When I was younger I was terrified of my vagina. Now, it doesn’t matter! They come in all shapes and sizes. And tmi or weird as it sounds. My partner loves them 😂 every body is different. And occasionally the “beef curtains or roast beef comments hurt” but it’s my body and I’ve learned to love every bit! A REAL man will not care about how you look down there. Or anywhere really. Don't hold yourself to the standards of porn... people who joke about roast beef literally have no idea what they're talking about. They're ignorant and immature. The people who matter won't say a damn thing.
I said something to my partner at some point about my vulva not being pornstar-perfect and he was kind of like "??? I think it's fine??? I don't think there's anything wrong with it???" He probably said it nicer than that lol but you get the point.
If you can't quite bring yourself to *love* your vulva (or any other aspect of your body) just tell yourself "It literally does not matter" because it doesn't. If it doesn't affect your health, then there's nothing wrong with it.
