Gallstones

I have been getting the worst pain in my abdomen that radiates through the right half of my upper torso. Went to the ER last night and was there for 7 hours getting tests done. Turns out I have gallstones and will be needing surgery.

My question is have any of you other mommas had to get gallbladder surgery while being pregnant? They told me that I need to call surgeon to see if he would do surgery on me. Dr also said that some surgeons will perform on pregnant ladies and some won’t. So just curious if you’ve had to get surgery during pregnancy.
