Have any of you utilized birth control to help manage your endometriosis? If so, did it have any impact on you getting pregnant once you came off??

I have dealt with endo since I was 9, I have been off and on BC over the years to help manage (per doctors advice) but I'm nervous on how it will effect me when I do start trying for a baby. I hate being on the pill, I don't like the uncertainty it brings with the fertility issues I already have, but doctor suggests it's the only option to manage my endo at this time. Iv been debating on going off of it but haven't made a final decision yet!
