Ovulation day?

So I inserted my ovulation strip results into the app and I got my peak day on Sunday 27th. (I thought that was the day you ovulated??) The app input that my ovulation day was Monday 28th and I had no peak result on my ovulation strip that day. In fact there was barely any line 🧐can someone please advise? Please forgive my lack of knowledge.

No opks don’t confirm ovulation or dpo they just let you know when your about to ovulate within 12-48 hours. You can ovulate the same day as your positive or the next day or day after. If you want more accuracy the you need to add bbt to confirm ovulation and you will know when you ovulated, dpo, luteal phase length (is from the day after ovulation to period which stays the same each cycle give or take 1-2 days. Average length is 12-14 days give or take 1-2 days.) when period is coming by temp drop or if you miss your period and your temp stays up then there is a chance for pregnancy
