I have an issue..

So I built the crib and changing table clear back in January and I'm due March 29th..

I live with my family still as financially it's just unfortunately not in the cards for me to have a place of my own but still be a supportive ftm as the dad isn't in the picture.. because of this I live in the basement and can't have a secluded nursery room or anything

Anyways.. I have a year old cat and I've done everything I can to prevent him from getting in the crib or changing table and etc but no matter what I have done it's an issue that hasn't resolved in any way in two months.. he's also randomly clawed me while I sleep to the point I bleed and I don't want to give him up but at the same time I can't help but fear he will hurt my baby especially when being unable to keep her separated from him in a nursery or another room..

As of now my only option is to return him to the shelter even tho I've had him for almost a year and idk if I have the gut to to it.. I want to be selfish and keep him but at the same time I can't risk my baby like that..

Tips? Advice? Or is it time to say goodbye to my best friend..
