Thoughts on eyelash extensions?🤔

I have always loved how eyelash extensions make eyelashes look fuller and longer and not having to mess with mascara everyday. I am really thinking on getting them, just curious of pros, cons, experiences, and thoughts.

I loved mine. But I will say, they are not maintenance free. I thought they were and hadn’t done my homework prior to getting them. You do need to take extra steps washing them and brushing them out. Not a super deterrent for me, but definitely a consideration.

I HATED mine. My eyes always itched and I honestly hated taking of them. I have too much going on to try and take care of eyelashes lol

I constantly have my eyelashes done, I absolutely love them 😍. I love not having to mess around in the morning, it saves so much time. I wash them once a week and they are fine, they normally last 3-4 weeks but since I’ve been pregnant and everything seems to be growing faster they last about 2 weeks. I had a break from them during covid and used magnetic ones instead but they were a faf and I really missed having them. I don’t think I’d ever go back. It’s hard trying not to rub your eyes in the morning when you wake up etc but you get used to it.

I’ve gotten them done a couple of times and I’m not a makeup everyday person and I rub my eyes a lot bc I’m not use to stuff being on my face 😂 I have very long lashes naturally and everytime I’ve gotten them done my natural lashes are trashhh after and I rather just do strips so I can take it off an rub my eyes whenever i want. If I’m going on vacation I just get the at home extensions that stays for a week or less.

I loved them! I felt pretty every time I’d wake up. lol. It’s a long process though, I got hybrids done it took 2 hours. You have to brush them out & wash them so makeup doesn’t build up on them. Not a big deal as I wash my face every night anyway.

I just had mine done again after not getting them for two years and only doing lash lifts instead. 
I feel like they are over kill and lashes are so itchy I just want to sleep on my
Face lol.   Don’t do it.  Just do a lash lift instead

Eyelash extensions are only worth it if you don’t wear eye makeup! 
As someone who lives eye liner & eyeshadow it wasn’t worth it for me. Took twice as long to do my make up, way too long to take my make up off at the end of the day & the oils from tue make up made the lashes fall out quicker

The lady who threads brows applies individual lashes for me for $30 and they last 2 weeks. No Maintenence really, just can’t get them wet. I don’t want to do the mink ones that are like $250 or whatever.
