Labor soon ?

I’ve been having contractions constantly about 10 mins apart since yesterday at 530pm. They haven’t increased in intensity but have gotten to about 7-8 mins apart. I was even having them throughout the night while sleeping. I’m a first time mom so I’m not sure how this works. I haven’t lost my mucus plug and my water hasn’t broken. I was wondering. Is this a sign of labor is near like I’m in the early stages of labor or no just more practice contractions?
