What would you do?
So im a nanny to 6 month old twins. When i came in today the babies had been up for an hour, and were getting bottles in their high chairs. Mom told me she hadn't changed them yet. I didnt realise how long they'd been awake yet. Baby A had pissed and shit so much it was runnung up his back and down his legs. Baby B and peed so much it had gone up to his chest on his clothes-while sitting up. Im honestly really mad. Like wtf. What would you do?
She also had some other questionable parenting ideas. Like literally making me make them sleep on the tummies when i lay them down
Edit: i hope some of you dont get nannies. Because you sound like you'd take advantage. You wouldn't drop off your kid at daycare with soiled clothes, no diapers, or dirty bottles. And what i specifically asked about was just a portion of some of the ridiculous things I've ran into here. She tested out a food on one of the babys that they aren't developed enough to eat yet and i had to say something. (Choking hazard, giving them non meltable food). Feeding them in their bouncers and not understanding why they projectile vomit afterward. Letting her dog lick their baby mats. So some of you bashing on me, that's fine. But ig i just have higher parenting standards than you
Edit 2: When i started, they wanted to sleep on their backs. They still do. The only way i get them sleep on their stomachs- per her request- is by getting them to sleep before i put tuem in their cribs. the food I'm talking about was crunchy and had to be chewed. They dont have teeth. She said he swallowed it whole. So. Choking hazard. And again, i raised 2 kids growing up. I got pulled out of school for a year once so i could watch my siblings. From the moment i got up, to going to bed. Cooking, cleaning. So yes, ik what parenting is. And I've done it at an age where i was still developing but i was capable of doing it. So "YoUr nOt a PaReNt" people can shove it. And if you let your kids sit in their own filth for so long that it seeps to their clothes- and you think that's ok- you shouldn't have had kids. I said what i said.
