What’s more reliable: cervical mucus or ovulation cramps?

I know the real answer is opks, but I had a weird situation this month where I was forecasted to ovulate on the 8th, had my last day of ewcm on the 6th, flew from the US to Japan on the 7th and arrived on the 8th and BD with my husband. It would have been early morning US time on the 8th when I had the ovulation cramps and then we BD. I just am wondering if I even have a chance this month? It’s okay if not we were planning on starting fully trying next month.

I would say the ovulation cramps for your particular situation. I get ewcm a few days before I actually ovulate, but cramp the day before and day of ovulation.

Neither. track your cycle with opks to let you know when your about to ovulate and temp to confirm ovulation you will know when you ovulated, dpo, luteal phase length (is from the day after ovulation to period which stays the same each cycle give or take 1-2 days. Average length is 12-14 days give or take 1-2 days.) when period is coming by temp drop or if you miss your period and your temp stays up then there is a chance for pregnancy
