If you know exactly when you ovulated based off of the ovulation tests you took, can you base your due date off from that? Or does it have to certainly be from your first day of your last menstrual period?

I ovulated on Sept 1 which would make my due date May 25, 2022 but, based of my LMP my due date would be May 22, 2022. Which is only a shy of 3 days... I'm hoping for my due date to be May 25, 2022 because I'm hoping for a Gemini baby but, based off my LMP its May 22, 2022😞 Is it possible to just go by the day I ovulated?

Calculations go off the date of your last period. A scan will determine if this is accurate. Does it really matter what star sign your child will be???

Ovulation date is more accurate than LMP. If people just use LMP without average cycle length, they will assume you ovulated 14 days later, which is not true for most people (I'm generally day 18 for example). So yeah, I'd go with the later due date but like the other commenter, baby will come in their own time and do NOT care what us grownups have "assigned" 😉

Only 5% of babies are actually born on their due dates. The average first times mom's gives birth at 41w 3d. Some countries due dates are even 41 weeks because it's usually more accurate. Due dates are nothing but guess dates. It's more realistic to just have a birth window. When people ask me I just say mid to late May.
