Opinions? Please help!

So I'm 21 and my husband is 23. We've been together for almost 4 years. He's always had jealousy issues and Insecurities, but I've always looked over them. 
However, I have 3 tattoos ( small tattoos ) and I'm going to get another SMALL tattoo Saturday. My husband is livid and tells me that he doesn't want someone covered in tattoos and he knew when he let me get my last one I would want more and more? Mind you I had 2 before him and I got together. He tells me I'm doing it to impress people and try to "fit in".? & That were gonna end up divorced because I don't respect him? First off, I ride my own fucking wave. 😂 He should know this. & Secondly for once I didn't allow him to boss me. I told him I would get the tattoo and that I'm not trying to get covered! 
Having tattoos doesn't stop me from being a wife, mother, or house wife! I'm very respectful of him. I've never cheated on him and never would! I don't dress half naked! I'm not a whore! I'm a good Mama! I mean what do I do? 
He does his part as a man. He works, pays the bills, and helps with our baby! More than most I have to say. & His only downfall is him trying to be controlling! And very insecure! 
So ladies, would you obey and not get that tattoo, or would you do what you wanted and get the tattoo?

Do it anyway! You already had tattoos before you met him & unless you explicitly told him you werent gonna get anymore then he can just get over it. He knew what he married. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Neither of you respect each other. He is trying to bully you into doing what he wants and you’re being stubborn and say you’re just going to do it anyway so you obviously don’t care what he thinks. If you want to live your life that way then cool I guess but I honestly don’t see your relationship lasting very long if that’s both of your attitudes.

It is your body. You had them before and you enjoy them. You are doing it for you. His reasoning is that “you’re doing it for other people.” He doesn’t want to be with someone covered. There’s a big difference between small tattoos and being covered. He sounds pretty insecure if he thinks you’re trying to impress others. Going by some of your responses to other comments, he definitely has insecurities and is projecting his fears into you. Maybe the two of you could try marriage counseling to rid your marriage of some of the jealousy? Either way, it sounds like he may need counseling.

I don’t understand why everyone is coming at you for this. Me personally, if you had them before then clearly he should see that you had some already and might want more in the future. It’s your body so I say it’s up to you. You say he is very insecure and controlling, that’s his issue to work on. So I would just politely let him know that you appreciate his concern but it’s your body and you will do with it what you please, with the understanding that he has the exact same right to do what he wants with his body. If he wasn’t ok with tattoos to begin with he never should have married you 🤷🏼‍♀️

Just do you! If he doesn’t want to be with someone who is covered in tattoos then he could just leave you. I doubt your forcing him to stay.

I almost feel like if you hadn’t told him about it before getting the tattoo he wouldn’t notice a difference unless it was big or something right?  😅 I don’t know though now that he knows about it is it worth getting a tattoo?  But also, he shouldn’t ever tell you that you don’t have control over your OWN body. NOT ok. Maybe you can reach some sort of compromise to still be able to get a tattoo but that will make him feel more secure?  I mean honestly, it’s probably not even about a tattoo it sounds like something deeper. Has he ever been abandoned or neglected growing up?  Just wondering. I have my own insecurities in my marriage with things sometimes because I was sort of abandoned and so I freak out sometimes at the smallest things. He needs to see someone about this. Or it will just continue to be a problem not just over a tattoo but other things.  I’m sorry. But honestly he needs to relax and let you make your own decisions. I finally realized I needed to relax and stop fighting over things that are out of my control.  My husband is his own person too ya know.  Good luck. I think it is a problem for other reasons but he may need to see someone to fright out his emotions. He can’t just put it on you all the time.

Just wanted to update and let everyone know that I got the tattoo and caused zero issues. As an adult he kinda understood my point of view. I respect the fact he doesn't care for them, but I also don't tend on being disrespectful and getting covered.

I don't even know why you feel.you need to question yourself about it. It upur body if ypu want a tattoo then go and have a tattoo, do what ypu want don't listen to no man telling you ,if you can ir cannot have a tattoo, I love my tattoos I even have half a sleeve lol, my man did tell me mind he doesn't want me covered, but I told him it's my body I di what I want 😂💪

He worried you wanna be covered at 3...I got 8 🤣 my partners voice he wouldn't want me to have loads buuuttt he also at one point said he never thought he'd be with a person with any tattoos 😂 and I think he means loads as in no visible skin anyway which I wouldn't
