Still using similac?

Hi everyone so after the recall I switched my little one to emfamil, after three weeks her tummy didn’t sit well. She has diarrhea after every feeding and mucus in her poop. Anyway thinking about switching back to similac but not sure since the recall. Any thoughts, her doctor pretty much said it was a parental preference.

Enfamil is vastly different than Similac. All Enfamil uses palm oil, which can upset a baby’s stomach. The closest infant formula to Similac Pro-Adv is Kirkland ProCare. That’s what we switched to. It actually has one more prebiotic, so it’s a little bit better than Similac Pro-Adv and it’s way cheaper. If you don’t have a Costco membership, it’s usually pretty easy to find someone that does and have them buy it for you for the year you need it.

Ive used Similac soy since birth and have had no issues

I changed formula too and used Happy Baby organic (orange / blue one) it helped with my
Baby and he isn’t so constipated (: it’s out of stock nearby for now

but if not I tried Earth Organics and he loves it!

They’re all supposed to be the same ingredients. Did you get the formula that was comparable to the similac? We use the yellow parents choice formula and breastmilk but we haven’t had any issues.

I switched from the Similac 360 to the Enfamil Enspire, which little guy has been doing really well. Have you tried the Enfamil Enspire it’s their closet to breast milk.

I continued to use similac pure bliss. my first born went thru so many different kinds and Enfamil was the worst on his tummy im on my 3rd kid shes 3 mths now and i had stocked up around 15 cans before she was born i was paranoid and stocked yup alot when the recall happened I was worried but since the pure bliss wasn't on the recall list I continued to use it especially because I had so many cans still left I would just try a different kind I highly recommend the pure bliss
