I’ve been with my boyfriend for 1 year, we moved in together at 3 months do to me having to move out of my parents house. We were just graduated and started permanent jobs. Our relationship was amazing in the beginning he would show up with flowers and my favorite coffee, plan dates, love on me and was just everything I wanted. We planned on buying a house this year but I’m hesitant because all the stuff he did before is gone.

On Valentine’s Day I wrote him a bunch of letters to open when he needed them, got his favorite candy, created a box for his letters with our initials, bought a tight dress cause he wanted to see me in one and got all ready for our date that night but when he got home he just got me 2 roses and the date was just us driving up to the mountains and missing the sunset and then grabbing fast food and coming home to watch a movie. Never once did he compliment the dress or anything.

Christmas I got him a really sweet watch with a engraving on the back that said You’re Extremely Special-A for when he proposed it would spell out yes on his watch and he asked for my ring size and i thought it was gonna be maybe a promise ring at lease but no it was just a pineapple ring and he made it a point to say it’s not a promise ring and I cried ( not in front of him because I didn’t want him to feel bad)

His birthday I took him to dinner and the fair and got him some stuff

For my birthday his step mom got me stuff and said it was from him and my dad planned dinner for all of us

A lot of times I’ll leave him messages about how much I love him so he can wake up to it or if I go to bed before he makes it home sometimes he doesn’t do that at all. I make him dinner every night and clean so he has a clean home and fresh food. I’m always the one pushing to buy a house but he wants to just live with his parents until the market drops but I want out of under them. I feel like I’m going above and beyond to build a life with him but it’s a chore to get him to do or help with anything. I’m worried he’s just not mature enough for what I need rn. Now my manager has showed a lot of interest in me he’s 10 years older, owns a house, car, has 2 kids and wants to settle down and he also just clicks with me better but I don’t want to jump the gun because I want me and my boyfriend to work out but no matter how many times I talk to him nothing changes and it breaks my heart cause he’s my everything and it sickens me to think of loosing him but I need to be satisfied and happy. Any advise on what I should do because I feel lost rn😭😭
