Someone please help me out

OK so I’m normally on birth control where there’s three weeks of hormone pills and then one week of placebo which is when I get my period. This month I decided to go ahead and try to skip my period, so I went ahead and skip the placebo pills and took the first pill of the next pack today. I just went to the bathroom and noticed that I’m slightly spotting/starting to bleed, is this because my body is used to having my period right now and should it go away in a day or two with starting the new pack of pills ?? Someone help I feel crazy
