Would pumpkins be beneficial and if so how would this look… would I breast feed and pump in the other breast or would I breast feed on both breast then a hour after baby eats pump on both? Tips please. Hoping to be successful this time around.

No, pumping before around 5-6 weeks doesn't let your body to regulate the milk oroduction for itself and can do more harm than good.
If you plan on breastfeeding directly, don't pump.

If you plan on breastfeeding don’t pump till about 6 weeks. You’ll create an over supply and it sucks. Only pump in the hospital if you are only planning on exclusively pumping.

My lactation nurse told me not to pump unless my milk didn’t come in by day 5. Otherwise to feed on demand. Baby nursing is what will help milk come in. Mine came in on day 3 both times and the colostrum was enough until then. If you start pumping before your milk regulates you can end up with an oversupply and engorgement issues
