Ovulation bleeding???

Ok so I wasn’t sure if I should post this or not just because I’ve a very private person but I didn’t really know where else to go.

My partner and I have been trying for a baby for over a year now. I do have PCOS so it’s been a little bit of a struggle and my dr said I don’t ovulate every month like I should, so when I do it’s show time. This time was a little different tho. We did the deed I laid there like normal then when to the bathroom and found a little bit of blood, kinda like a tiny blood clot as well as just a little about of blood. I’ve tried talking to my best friend about it but she said it’s nothing. I was just wondering if it’s normal or should I book a drs appointment??
