Is this normal in pregnancy at 26 weeks ?
I apologize if my writing is horrible. I’m on night shift, my brain does not function well anymore 😂
Has anyone experienced congestion in the back of their throat that won’t come out but a dry nose and shortness of breath while pregnant. I’m 26 weeks and I had a glucose test Wednesday. Manage to pass but was told I have few to many white blood cells and I’m slightly anemic. Doctor told me to get vitamin C in me. I was fine after the glucose test but had a headache and then went on my way with my normal activities. I had to get up at 5am yesterday for a eye appointment, then got a spray tan at 12:30. Nothing wild. I was told their products were safe and that she just did multiple tans to other pregnant women for a photo session so I was convinced I’ll be okay and I use to tan back then before I came pregnant and I’ve using self tanner in my pregnancy. I just had a hard time reach some spots so I figured a spray tan would be better. That day I had a coffee and bagel at 6am then McDonald breakfast at 10:30am and brats and chip around 1pm. I started feeling a shortness of breath and tightness in my throat as if you were to eat to fast and need to catch your breath. I felt like that all day and through my midnight shift last night, I was kinda in panic as I ended up super warm and manage to puke a few times last night through my shift. Once I got off at 11am today I ate something and went to bed and chug water. Figured I didn’t eat enough or lacking water. I got a 5 hour nap in and I’m awake now and moving but still feel that shortness and headache when moving around. I took some Tylenol and water along with fruit. But even when I eat the fruit slowly I’m still feeling the eatting to fast can’t catch my breath with a slight burn in my throat. Super weird but I don’t know when to be concerned? Baby was kicking hard and a lot this morning so gave me relief she’s moving and doing okay (I think). Butttt it’s like
When do I go in, is this normal to experience. I called my doctor but sadly I missed the return call when I was sleeping as I have night shift again tonight. I have a near by emergency clinic I can go to but it’s not connected to the doctor I go to. Now that it’s the weekend my only shot is the emergency clinic in my area.
