Do you set up a registry for second baby if same gender? (18 months apart)

And if so, what are good items to register for in regards to having 2 kids?

I did, but I didn’t tell anyone about it. It was more like a shopping list for myself, and as a bonus I got the registry competition coupons and freebies.

We did for the amazon completion discount but also because my sons baby shower was early 2020 and the world went to crap. 😅 so we didn’t have an in person shower. This time we are having boy multiples and people understood. Just had our first in person shower and they were so loved by friends and family and gifted from the registry. 
I used to hear before I had kids about baby shower etiquettes. The “rules” I heard were “only call it a shower if it’s the opposite gender or more then 4 years since the first baby regardless of gender” (I’m assuming because you wouldn’t still have baby stuff around in 4 years?!) otherwise if having the same gender then call it a sprinkle and it’s mostly for diapers and wipes and a party. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would just for the discount for myself. But I wouldn’t send it out to anyone, unless they specifically asked.

I wouldn’t personally. You already have your baby items, just need your basics like diapers etc. Just make yourself a small list of the extra things you may want to get yourself.

I did. My second son will be 23 months younger than my first son. We had a baby shower because my first is a May 2020 baby so we never had a shower. 
LOTS of people asked me what we wanted/needed so a registry was very helpful. I mostly just put diapers, wipes, and hygiene products on there. And just a few new toys and outfits. 
I also added things like laundry detergent too lol! And actually someone bought some for us which you know is one of the most important family staples when you have kids haha

You can always add the basic necessities like diapers, wipes, white onesies, bottles, etc. I feel like regardless of how many kids you have the basics are always needed❤
