wake up babe?

BF Mamas at how many weeks did you not wake up babe to eat?
My LO is now sleeping during the nights but I just want to know when is it okay to let them sleep through the night? And or when they should eat.
Is formula fed and BF babies any different?
I’ve only been exclusively bf LO since they won’t take a bottle…(I’ve tried about 8 different bottles lol)

We were advised after 4 weeks and when baby had returned to birth weight, we could let her sleep. To maintain milk supply though it’s still important to remove milk often, especially at night. 
A good rule of thumb is that babies can sleep their age in weeks plus 1, so a 5 week old can go up to 6 hours at night, a 6 week old can go up to 7 hours etc. This way you’re easing them into longer stretches gradually. Doesn’t mean they will definitely sleep that long but it’s a good guideline to keep in mind.

Our doc told the weight gain of our ebf son is so good, that we could stop at 2 weeks already... But... Little did the doc know, that my son had a mind of his own. He woke to feed every 2-3 hours until he was a year old... Never had to wake him myself.

I wish mine had slept through, he woke every hour or so to eat. Sorry I have no wisdom to share, just totally envious over here!

We stopped waking to feed at 12 weeks. I was paranoid because he had weight struggles in the beginning  but had totally turned it around by the time he was like 6 weeks.

As long as he hasn’t lost any weight and is about the weight he was when he was born or more, he should be able to sleep through the night.

Every hour of the night but that was extreme. If your baby is sleeping through the night and above their birth weight consider yourself very lucky lol! Don’t wake baby!

Babe can sleep 1 hour longer than week old. So a 4 week old can sleep 5 hr stretches at night.

After birth weight was back, I stopped waking baby. But some nights she would wake-up every 2hrs on her own.
