Pill after miscarriage

I was just wondering if and when to start the mini pill after having a miscarriage. I've gooled but there isn't much information on it. Friends of mine said they started the pill as soon as they started miscarriaging and bleeding to be protected from pregnancy straight away. Others say to wait a few days after bleeding stopped. I haven't spoken to a doctor yet but I will in a few days to see what they say. Anyone have any insights on the topic?
