I’m curious if there is anyone else out there ttc with a bleeding disorder. I am a hemophiliac. I have Von Willebrand Disease. My blood clots at 27% efficiency. I’m able to monitor what I eat to help control it and stay away from blood thinners like aspirin and antihistamines. Certain foods are also off the menu as well. Due to my disorder, I am more likely to have infrequent periods. So far I’ve been pretty regular. I’ll also have to have an all natural birth as the medications thin the blood and can increase my chance of bleeding to death. My disorder also means my pregnancy has a higher chance of being considered high risk. My child will also be nearly guaranteed to have my disorder as well as it is genetic. My brothers and my mother have it.
