I’ve been having heel pain,after I work is that normal?

I hardly can walk after my shift,my feet doesn’t hurt it’s mostly my heals.i know some women feet get swollen but I wasn’t sure if it was normal

If it's only at the back of your heel it's not plantar fasciitis, but rather Achilles tendons. Or even haglund heel if you have a bump at the back of the heel. Either way I would get it look at by a doctor or physiotherapist, because the longer it stays the worse it gets.

I dealt with this BAD when I first became a nurse. I tried a few different types of shoes until I found some that worked for me and the problem almost completely went away. 5 years later I’m 21 weeks pregnant and my heels KILLL again. No shoes are helping 😭 I feel your pain. I made the mistake of wearing flip flops and can hardly walk now. It’s the struggle.

Increasing your ankle mobility will likely help. Foam roll followed by static stretch your calves. There are videos on YouTube for calf muscle release. Also try rolling a lacrosse ball under your foot to release the tightness.

Even buying something like dr. Scholls planters fasciitis insoles can make a huge difference. I was in so much pain i went to multiple people for help and in the end I was told to get orthotics. I haven't had a problem since. And, now that I've reached the point where I'm not in constant pain I can also wear other shoes for short periods of time now so im not stuck with runners and orthotics.
